The 2015 FIS World Alpine Ski Championships scheduled for February 3-15 of 2015 in Vail and Beaver Creek will mark the third time that the Vail Valley has played host to this prestigious international event. The World Championships represent the largest and most impressive collection of ski racing talent in the world, second only to the Olympics. To host such an event in the United States is not only a great honor, but a great opportunity to rally the country around the sport of skiing, engage the next generation in the sport and build upon the successes of the past toward greater glory in the future.
