For confidence on the hard pack, it doesn’t get much better than the Blizzard Black Pearl. Blizzard calls the Black Pearl the backbone of their Women’s freeride line. With its versatile dimensions, not only will this ski rail turns on icy groomers, it can hold its own off trail as well. The early rise tip and tail rocker provide just enough float to ski soft snow conditions, while the camber underfoot provides all the power needed for confident turns at high speed. The poplar bamboo core features Blizzards innovative Flipcore technology that lays the core material upside down for a more natural flex pattern and a boost in stability, which is just what you need for fast days at the resort. The Black Pearl is 123 mm in the tip, 88 underfoot, and 108 in the tail. It has a quick turning radius that gives you a fluid feel from edge to edge and a stiffer flex for a stable ride. If you spend most of your time on-trail, but still want a ski that’s versatile enough to explore the mountain from time to time, the Women’s Blizzard Black Pearl is a great option to check out.
