For more than 14 years, Völkl has dominated the Freeride Performance category with Mantra and Kendo. After the new M5 Mantra, this Freeride Titanale family is growing for 2019 with no less than 3 new skis in addition to the M5: Mantra 102, Kendo 92 and Kendo 88. We find on all these skis the famous technology Titanale Frame: a plate of Titanale forming an arch along the straight edges at the tip and the heel, and a solid, refined plate under the binding. In spatula there is always a layer of carbon to increase the torsional rigidity which provides more power and stability at high speed. The novelty for the Kendo 88 is found in the sidecut with the 3 Radius Sidecut (3-ray rib lines): a longer radius at the rocker of the tip and the heel for easy entry into the curve and more stability at high speed. And a shorter radius on the center of the ski to have a manageable ski and easy to pivot in small turns.
