For more than 14 years, Völkl has dominated the Freeride Performance category with Mantra and Kendo. After the new M5 Mantra, this Freeride Titanale family expands to 2019 with no less than 3 new skis in addition to the M5: Mantra 102, Kendo 92 and Kendo 88. We find on all these skis the famous technology Titanale Frame: a plate Titanale forming an arch skirting the right edges at the spatula and the heel, and a full slab, under the binding. Spatula is always a layer of carbon to increase the torsional stiffness that provides more power and stability at high speed. The novelty for the Kendo 88 is in the sidecut with the 3 Radius Sidecut (shoreline 3-spoke): a longer radius at the rocker spatula and heel for easy entry curve and more stability to high speed. And a shorter radius on the center of the ski to have a handy ski and easy to turn in small turns.
