The winners of the GORE-TEX® Experience Tour "SHOOT YOUR OWN OTDOOR FILM 2013" had the opportunity to make a film with the blind climber Andy Holzer. Yvon Labarthe, Marta Muixí, Gabriel Streif and Ondra Vacek had the support from Joachim Hellinger and the production team from the European Outdoor Film School.
ANDY HOLZER, born September 3rd, 1966, in Lienz / East Tyrol has been blind since birth -- and still masters difficult climbing routes. His motto: Seeing is overrated. At the age of 9, his parents took him to a "real" mountain, the Spitzkofel in Eastern Tirol. Ever since this time, Andy Holzer developed a huge passion for mountaineering.
