The Blizzard Bonafide is the real deal when it comes to the one-ski quiver.
The day I tested the Bonafide was one of the best days of the season. The snow was fully nuking at Alta, giving us deep, untracked powder all day long.
With 133 mm in the tip, 98 underfoot, and 118 in the tail, this isn’t the first ski that I would reach for on such a deep day. That being said, I was really impressed with how well it performed in the soft snow. The early rise rocker in the tip and tail provided good float and they were a lot of fun. It’s easy to understand why this is one of our best selling skis.
The Bonafide’s core is a combination of poplar and bamboo with paulownia stringers and two sheets of titanal metal. The result is a lively, responsive feel that’s great in a wide range of conditions. The subtle camber underfoot provides solid edge hold on the groomers and with the titanal sheets you can really charge and rally these things on harder snow.
For a one-ski-quiver that’s going to be able to handle everything you might see in a season, it doesn’t get any better than the Blizzard Bonafide.
