Thanks to the Titanal Frame technology and its more complex manufacturing process, the Titanal is concentrated where it will give the best boost to skiing: we will find 0.6mm of Titanal along the straight edges and on the entire tip and heel. Under the binding, a second thinner Ttitanal plate gives the ski sufficient rigidity to hold the binding screws with the durability of a metal ski, which makes this ski a very resistant ski. This plate offers a thickness of 0.3mm and allows a more flexible pad. In spatula, there is a layer of carbon which increases the torsional rigidity without having extra weight. The Mantra M5 has also been redesigned with a camber under the skate, a rocker in tip and heel for a ski with more pop and raises when cornering.
